Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information TatvaIQ ("we", "us") collects when you use our websites and services, including TatvaIQ Audiobook Studio, and how we handle it.
1. Information we collect
- Account details: your name, email address, and a securely hashed password.
- Your content: manuscripts you upload and the audio generated from them.
- Usage records: how much audio you generate (for quota metering and billing), project metadata, and basic technical logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) for security and abuse prevention.
- Payment information: handled entirely by our payment partner, Razorpay. We never see or store your card, UPI, or bank details — we receive only your subscription status.
2. How we use it
- To provide the Services: your manuscript text is sent to our AI provider (Google's Gemini API) to generate narration, and your files are stored so you can access them across devices.
- To meter usage, process subscriptions, and prevent abuse.
- To respond to support requests and send essential service communications. We do not send marketing email without your consent.
We never sell your data. We do not use your manuscripts to train AI models. We do not share your content with anyone except the processors listed below, and only to provide the Services.
3. Where your data lives
Your data is stored on Google Cloud infrastructure in the Mumbai (asia-south1) region. Our processors are: Google Cloud / Firebase (hosting, storage, database), Google Gemini API (AI narration), and Razorpay (payments).
4. Retention and deletion
- Your projects and audio are retained while your account is active so you can return to them.
- Intermediate processing files are automatically deleted within about 30 days.
- You may delete projects at any time, and you may request full account deletion by writing to support@tatvaiq.in — we will delete your data within 30 days, except records we must retain by law (for example, billing records).
5. Cookies and local storage
We use only essential browser storage: a login token and small preferences (like your theme choice) kept in your browser's local storage, and a cache of your own audio for faster playback. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
6. Security
All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS. Passwords are stored only as bcrypt hashes. API keys and secrets are held in Google Secret Manager. Access to production systems is limited to TatvaIQ operators.
7. Your rights
You may request a copy of your data, correction of inaccurate data, or deletion of your account and content at any time by writing to support@tatvaiq.in. We comply with applicable Indian data-protection law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
8. Changes
If we make material changes to this policy we will notify account holders by email or an in-app notice before the changes take effect.
